PTFs or CCAs having been employed within the Chicago Installation for more than 120 calendar days shall be permitted to apply for voluntary reassignment to an alternative Station/Unit within the Installation. Once two PTFs or two CCAs desiring reassignment are identified and paired, a Mutual Exchange shall be granted, provided the employees identified qualify for reassignment.

• Full consideration will be given to each applicant’s work, safety, and attendance records.

• PTFs or CCAs serving on a temporary assignment (Opt or temporary hold-down) at the time the request is considered will not be eligible for reassignment.

• PTFs or CCAs serving in an acting supervisory position (204b) when the request is considered will not be eligible for reassignment.

• PTFs can only pair with other PTFs, and similarly, only CCAs can pair with one another.
